BetVictor confirmed as World Cup of Darts title sponsor

BetVictor has been announced as the new title sponsor of the World Cup of Darts after extending its partnership with Matchroom Sport across a range of sports.
 
Leading betting firm BetVictor has worked with a wide range of sports and events across the Matchroom Group for many years, and will build on that partnership in the coming months.
 
That deal includes returning to darts as the title sponsor for the BetVictor World Cup of Darts, which will be held from June 27-30 at the Eissporthalle in Frankfurt, Germany, where Wales’ Gerwyn Price and Jonny Clayton defending their title.
 
Rivals will include four-time winner England’s new-look partnership of Luke Humphries and Michael Smith, while Peter Wright and Gary Anderson team up for two-time winners Scotland and Michael van Gerwen will spearhead the Netherlands’ bid for a fifth title.
 
“The BetVictor World Cup of Darts is one of the highlights of the PDC calendar and an event which is eagerly anticipated by players and fans around the world,” said PDC Chief Executive Matt Porter.

“Expanding the event to 40 nations last year was a huge success and gives so many countries a chance to shine on the big stage.
 
“BetVictor have a long and rich association with the PDC and we’re delighted to welcome them back as title sponsors of the World Cup of Darts at such an exciting time for the sport.”

 
BetVictor's partnership with Matchroom Sport also sees them backing a series of leading events in snooker and pool.
 
During the 2024/25 season, BetVictor will sponsor the World Snooker Tour’s Home Nations Series which comprises the English Open, Northern Ireland Open, Scottish Open and Welsh Open.
 
The celebrated BetVictor Bonus will run across those events, with the leading money winner over the four tournaments to earn a huge extra prize of £150,000.
 
BetVictor will also sponsor both the Championship League Snooker ranking event and Championship League Snooker invitation event, promoted by Matchroom Multi-Sport, alongside the 2024 UK Open Pool event.
