ALEKSEY PILIPENKO and Boris Koltsov were the winners of the fifth and sixth events of the Russian EADC ProTour season, with both defeating Anton Kolesov in the final.
Pilipenko won his first EADC event as he edged out Kolesov 6-5 in their final following a tight contest.
He had also overcome former event winner Aleksey Kadochnikov in the semi-finals, holding off his rival's fightback from 3-0 down to reduce the gap to one leg before he pulled clear for a 6-2 victory.
Kolesov saw off Andrey Ponomarenko and Boris Koltsov in the final stages, with the latter leading 2-0 in their semi-final before being defeated in a deciding leg.
Koltsov went on to gain revenge in the Event Six final, as he came from behind to claim a 6-2 win over Kolesov.
Koltsov, last year's Russian qualifier for the William Hill World Championship, also whitewashed Viktor Grishin in the quarter-finals and then saw off Kadochnikov by dropping only one leg in the semi-finals.
Kolesov won through to a second successive final in style, overcoming three-time event winner Roman Obukhov in the quarter-finals and then edging a high-quality semi-final against Aleksandr Oreshkin, who came from 3-0 down to level before losing out 6-4.
The results mean that Koltsov and Kadochnikov will represent Russia in the forthcoming Bwin World Cup of Darts - the full announcement of teams will follow in due course.
