PHIL TAYLOR won the Archer's London Masters Darts Classic, defeating James Wade 7-4 at the Cafe Royal.
Taylor was triumphant in the first Black Tie Darts Dinner, held at the prestigious Regent Street venue in association with the National Sporting Club of Great Britain and the PDC.
Over 300 guests were treated to a fine show by the world's top four players, Taylor, Wade, Raymond van Barneveld and John Part.
Wade defeated van Barneveld by five legs to two in the opening semi-final, while Taylor came from behind against World Champion Part to win his semi 5-4.
Taylor then proved too strong for Wade in the final before taking the London Masters Darts Classic Trophy.
The evening brought together members of the National Sporting Club of Great Britain, leading City businesses and PDC sponsors, including Ladbrokes.com, PartyPoker.net, Unicorn Darts and Perform Group, for a successful inaugural Black Tie Darts Dinner.
The quartet of PDC stars will be appearing at another famous London venue, Wembley Arena, in the Whyte & Mackay Premier League Darts on Thursday.
