TEENAGER Rico Vonck has won a place in the 2007 Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship as Holland's DDF representative.
The 19-year-old decorator from Posterholt will travel to the Circus Tavern next month after finishing second in this year's DDF rankings to Michael van Gerwen - who has already committed to the Lakeside event.
Vonck will join another teenage international star - Australia's 16-year-old Mitchell Clegg - at Purfleet and is the latest Dutch youngster to burst onto the scene.
Vonck will also play in the PDPA Players Championship tournaments to be played in Lisse on Saturday and Sunday.
The weekend began with the final DDF ranking tournament of the year, with Colin Osborne winning 6-2 in the final against Michael van Gerwen.
Osborne also knocked out Mark Dudbridge at the semi-final stage.
