THE William Hill World Darts Championship will receive greater TV exposure than ever this year, both through the Sky Sports Darts channel and the PDC's series of international broadcast partners.
The growth of the tournament, both in terms of status and viewing figures, has been reflected by Sky Sports' decision to dedicate entire channel to the tournament, with Sky Sports 3 rebranded as Sky Sports Darts from December 18-January 4.
Alongside coverage of every game, Sky Sports Darts will screen exclusive programmes focusing on the sport's top names, including an hour-long documentary with Michael van Gerwen, as well as focusing on some classic games from the PDC's archive.
In addition, the William Hill World Darts Championship will be aired worldwide through the PDC's international broadcast partners.
Fans in Holland can watch live through RTL7, with the action in Germany being shown through Sport1, with further European coverage via Fox Sports in Italy, Sport TV across the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary and Viasat across Scandinavia, Bulgaria and the Baltic states.
The will also be broadcast live into Australia through Fox Sports, on Sky New Zealand, across the Middle East and North Africa on OSN.
Fans with a LIVEPDC.TV International Pass subscription (outside of the UK, Ireland and Holland) can also watch live coverage of every game, which highlights of all matches available for all LIVEPDC.TV Subscribers.
