KEEGAN BROWN and Dean Reynolds shared the victories in the final two PDC Unicorn Youth Tour events of 2014, while Dimitri Van Den Bergh is celebrating topping the Order of Merit following 16 events.
The last of eight double-headers on this year's PDC Unicorn Youth Tour saw almost 100 players competing at Wigan's Robin Park Tennis Centre.
Alongside the £5,000 up for grabs in each event were two PDC Tour Cards for 2015 & 2016, which would be awarded to the two players who finished first and second in the final Youth Tour Order of Merit after the day's darts.
Reigning PDC Unicorn World Youth Champion Brown was the Event 15 winner as he claimed his second Youth Tour title.
The Isle of Wight ace opened the day with whitewashes of Josie Paterson and George Edwards before dropping just one leg against Chris Gower, and then edged out Dutch youngster Ryan De Vreede 4-3 to reach the quarter-finals.
He was also taken to a seventh leg by Nick Kenny before prevailing, and then defeated Kurt Parry 4-1 to reach the final before overcoming Jake Jones in a deciding leg to take the £1,000 first prize.
Jones had defeated Ben Songhurst, Ryan Jones, James Thompson, Josh McCarthy and Sam Hewson on his way to the decider in his best performance yet on the PDC Unicorn Youth Tour.
Jones was later a semi-finalist in Saturday's final Youth Tour event of the year, as he went down to eventual champion Dean Reynolds, who went on to see off Josh Payne in another final which went all the way to a deciding seventh leg.
Welsh-born Reynolds, a Youth Tour winner earlier in 2014 who also qualified for the UK Open in March, overcame Harry Ward, Adam Smith-Neale and Jeffrey De Zwaan with 4-1 scorelines on his way to the quarter-finals, before a narrow win over Adam Hunt set him on course for victory.
Payne's run to the final saw him secure second place in the final Youth Tour Order of Merit on £4,125 for the year, just £200 behind Belgian Dimitri Van Den Bergh (£4,325), with both earning a two-year PDC Tour Card for 2015 & 2016 as a result of their success.
Former World Youth Champion James Hubbard finished third, picking up £3,050 during the year, while Brown was joined by Nick Kenny level in fourth place on £2,850.
The year's final two PDC Unicorn Challenge Tour events, featuring PDPA Associate Members who competed in the 2014 PDC Qualifying School but failed to win Tour Cards, will be played on Sunday as the PDC's Development Tour series for 2014 concludes.
Mark Frost and Alan Tabern are the two players in line to win Tour Cards through the Challenge Tour Order of Merit, as they enter the final double-header with a healthy cushion over Colin Fowler, Jamie Robinson and Matthew Edgar.
