THE draw for the European Darts Trophy has been made, with James Wade set to face Andy Smith in one of the ties of Friday's first round, while Raymond van Barneveld was one of Thursday's European Qualifiers to win through in Leipzig.
The year's final £100,000 PDC European Tour event kicks off on Friday at the Kohlrabikirkus in Leipzig, with the first round seeing the event's 32 qualifiers drawn to face each other.
The field was finalised following Thursday night' Host Nation Qualifier and European Qualifier in Leipzig, which determined the final 16 places in the tournament.
The qualifiers included five-time World Champion Raymond van Barneveld, former Lakeside Champions Jelle Klaasen and Christian Kist and Belgian ace Ronny Huybrechts, who joins brother Kim in the field for the event.
Dutch youngsters Gino Vos, Ryan De Vreede and Dirk van Duijvenbode were joined in qualifying by Belgium's emerging ace Dimitri van den Bergh, while Mensur Suljovic qualified alongside Austria's Roxy-James Rodriguez - the brother of Rowby-John.
The Host Nation Qualifiers included teenage German talent Max Hopp, experienced quartet Bernd Roith, Michael Rosenauer, Jyhan Artut and Tomas Seyler and Michael Hurtz, who has broken through on the European Tour circuit in 2014.

The three first round games featuring UK Qualifiers include the clash between James Wade - June's Gibraltar Darts Trophy winner - and Andy Smith.
Kevin Painter meets former World Youth Champion James Hubbard in another tasty contest, while Lakeside Champion Stephen Bunting takes on 2013 PDC Unicorn Challenge Tour Order of Merit winner Ross Smith.
The first round will kick off in spectacular fashion on Friday with the quick-fire clash between Ricky Evans and Jelle Klaasen - who also met in the European Darts Grand Prix a fortnight ago.
Kist will take on Canada's emerging Shaun Narain in the afternoon's second game, before Rosenauer meets Steve West and Seyler faces European Tour debutant Rodriguez.
Welsh ace Gerwyn Price, the former rugby player in his first year as a professional darts star, will meet German hope Roith before another home hope, teenager Hopp, takes on Dutch youngster De Vreede.
Another Germany v Netherlands contest sees Artut meet van Duijvenbode, before van den Bergh tackles Andrew Gilding and William O'Connor faces Austrian number one Suljovic.
Dutch qualifier Vos then faces England's Dean Winstanley before van Barneveld challenges Northern Ireland's Michael Mansell, and two World Cup stars then meet as Ronny Huybrechts faces Welsh ace Richie Burnett.
The three all-English clashes then follow, before Ronnie Baxter's meeting with German hopeful Hurtz concludes the first round.
Saturday's second round games - which will be split across two sessions in Germany - include the meeting between World Champion Michael van Gerwen, the number one seed, and either Bunting or Ross Smith.
