ALEX ROY and Lionel Sams are to join a number of celebrities in a charity football match at Dunstable Town FC on Sunday 17 September.
Roy, who played football before making his breakthrough in darts, will be lining up alongside the likes of ex-Blazin' Squad and Celebrity Big Brother star Kenzie, Dream Team actors Jonathan Howard and Fenton Gee for the event.
Former Luton stars Kingsley Black, Scott Oakes and John Dreyer will also be taking part, along with Richie Lawrie, who has sponsored Roy, Sams and Jamie Harvey on the PDC circuit.
The game is to raise funds for Trust in Luton, the supporter's trust of Luton Town who will donate proceeds to coaching facilities in the area and Keech Cottage Children's Hospice.
World number 21 Lionel Sams will play spectators in an exhibition after the game, which kicks off at 3pm on 17 September at Creasey Park, Dunstable.
