ENTRIES for the second PDC Unicorn Youth Tour event in Barnsley this weekend are close to closing.
A total of 114 entries have already been made for the tournament, to be held at the Barnsley Metrodome, by Monday morning, with entry limited to just 128 players per tournament.
Entry to the event will cost £25, with £2,000 prize money on offer when the event is played on Saturday February 26.
Entries are also now being taken for Event 3 in Wigan on Saturday March 12.
Players must call the PDC Head Office on 08712 501 180 to make their entry and receive an entry number to confirm their entry, with payment to be made in person when registering at an event before 4pm on that respective Saturday.
Entry will be open from 9am-5pm on Monday-Friday, and entries for the Barnsley event will close at 5pm on Friday February 25 or when the field of 128 is reached.
Entries for the tournament in Wigan wil close on Monday February 28 at 2pm to be in line with the PDC ProTour entry deadlines.
All games will be played under DRA rules. Players must be aged 14 or above, and 21 and under on January 3 2011 to be eligible to play in the PDC Unicorn Youth Tour events.
The first PDC Unicorn Youth Tour event, held in Derby on Saturday, proved a huge success as Adam Hunt won the first of 15 tournaments to be held during the year.
