EIGHT further players won places in the Speedy Hire UK Open in Saturday's Rileys Qualifiers.
Curtis Hammond, a regular on the PDC Unicorn Youth Tour, won the final of the Colchester Qualifier with a 3-2 defeat of Michael Wiles.
Hammond also defeated Robert Turner and fellow Youth Tour player Steve Haggerty with narrow 3-2 wins in the final stages.
Another player who competes on the PDC Youth Tour, Richard North, won the Oxford Qualifier, with the Swindon youngster overcoming multiple UK Open qualifier Johnny Haines in the final.
Richie Howson, a cabinet maker from Rainham, defeated former professional Steve Smith 3-1 in the final of the Basildon Qualifier, while last year's winner from that venue, Ashley Whisker, reached the last eight.
Joe Murnan came from 2-0 down in the final of the Rileys Bootle Qualifier to win 3-2 against former UK Open qualifier Dave Johnston, while Eddie Lovely was a 3-1 winner over Baz Webster in the Hull final.
Darren Hawken came from 2-1 down to take victory against Ben Ward in the final of the Bournemouth event, with Ward missing six darts for victory in the fourth leg of the game.
Jamie Hagen, the runner-up in last year's Aberdeen Qualifier, went one better this time with a 3-1 defeat of Ian Robertson, while Matthew Jordan won in Exeter.
The Speedy Hire UK Open will be played from June 2-5 at the Reebok Stadium, Bolton. Tickets are available now from the Reebok Stadium Box Office in person or via 08448 712932.
