INFORMATION about the PDC Unicorn Youth Tour & PDC Unicorn World Youth Championship.
The PDC Unicorn Youth Tour was introduced in 2011 followin the success of the PDC Unicorn Under-21 World Championship, which was won by Arron Monk.
Offering 15 events worth £2,000 each in prize money, the PDC Unicorn Youth Tour gives players aged from 14 upwards the chance to compete in professional events.
The 15 tournaments will be followed in November 2011 by the PDC Unicorn World Youth Championship, which will be worth £30,000 in prize money as well as offering places in the 2011 Grand Slam of Darts for the finalists.
The World Youth Championship Last 64 will be held on Friday November 4 at the K2 Centre in Crawley, with play down to the Final, which will be held at a later date and televised live on Sky Sports.
The field will be comprised of the top 28 players from the PDC Unicorn Youth Tour Order of Merit, along with a series of ten International Qualifiers and the 26 Rileys Qualifiers.

What can I win?
In addition to prize money paid at events, the following rewards will be on offer to players competing on the PDC Unicorn Youth Tour:
* 2011 PDC Unicorn Youth Tour Order of Merit winner will receive an invitation to compete in the Preliminary Round of the Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship.
* The leading two players in the final 2011 PDC Unicorn Youth Tour Order of Merit who do not already have a Tour Card will receive a two-year Tour Card, plus entry fees paid.
* Invitation to 2011 Grand Slam of Darts for 2012 World Youth Championship finalists
* Invitation to 2011 Grand Slam of Darts for current World Youth Champion Arron Monk
* Invitation to 2012 Grand Slam of Darts for 2012 World Youth Champion
* 2012 World Youth Championship Finalists will receive a two-year PDC ProTour Card, plus entry fees paid. (Should one of these players have already won a Tour Card through Youth Tour OOM then no additional place will be offered)
How do I enter Youth Tour events?
Entry costs £25 for UK-based events and €25 for non-UK events.
Entries can be made through the PDC Head Office on 08712 501 180.
For events in Continental Europe, entry can be made via www.pdc-europe.net.
For events in Ireland, entry can also be made via Michael O'Sullivan on 00353 (0) 87 26 48 291.
Entry closes at 12pm on the Friday immediately before each event.
Can I play?
The lower age limit to compete on the PDC Unicorn Youth Tour is 14, and any player can play once they reach this age.
The upper age limit is that players must have been 21 or under on January 3 2011.
If a player turned 22 after this time, they can still compete in the remaining 2011 events, including the World Youth Championship.

Austria - event to be held on October 22 2011 at Sols Dart Arena, Industriestr 13-15, 7000 Eisenstadt. Entry fee €25, registration 12pm, start 2pm.
Spain - event to be held on October 22 2011 at Bare Nostrum, Av de Morotalaz 121, Madrid. Entry fee €25, registration 4pm, start 7pm.
Germany - event to be held on October 23 2011 at the Van Der Valk Hotel in Gladbeck. Entry fee €25, play to commence following the Quarter-Finals of the PDC Players Championship.
Holland - event to be held on October 29 2011 at Cafe d n Beer Dorpstraat 77 5241 EB Rosmalen. Entry fee €25, registration 6pm, start 8.30pm.
Rileys Qualifiers
Qualifying events will be held in Rileys Darts Zones on Sunday October 23, in Stirling, and at 31 venues on Sunday October 30, costing £5 to enter via the Rileys website. Entry will close at 5pm on Wednesday October 19.
Entries for the Rileys Qualifiers costs £5 and must be made by 5pm on Wednesday October 19, and can be made online through www.rileys.co.uk/tournaments.
Players will be allowed to enter the Stirling qualifier and a further event on Sunday October 30, but should they qualify from Stirling would not be eligible to compete in a further qualifier.
Play in each Rileys Qualifier will commence at 3pm, with players needing to register before 2pm on the day, when the draw will be made. Rileys clubs will open at 12pm. All games will be the best of seven legs.
