THREE-TIME champion Phil Taylor heads the betting to claim the William Hill Grand Slam of Darts title on Sunday following his quarter-final victory over Paul Nicholson.
Taylor is now rated as the 4/7 favourite to win the £100,000 tournament at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall on Sunday, when the semi-finals and final will be played across two sessions.
Taylor's semi-final opponent Adrian Lewis - the PDC World Champion who enjoyed a 16-5 quarter-final win over Mark Webster - is 6/1 to claim his second major title.
Taylor is the red hot 1/5 favourite to win their semi-final, with Lewis 3/1 to win through to the decider.
Gary Anderson is now the 5/2 second favourite to take the Wolverhampton title following his defeat of Terry Jenkins in the quarters.
He meets 20/1 outsider Mark Walsh in the other semi-final, with Anderson 1/6 to win through to the final and the Hertfordshire ace rated 4/1 to follow up his defeat of Ted Hankey with another triumph.
