THE Professional Darts Corporation would like to wish its fans and players worldwide a Merry Christmas!
With the Ladbrokes World Darts Championship taking a three-day break over the festive period, players and fans will be celebrating the Christmas season around the world.
While many of the players still involved in the World Championship are enjoying Christmas in the UK, others have returned to their native countries following the end of the pre-Christmas darts on Friday.
"We've enjoyed nine sensational days in the Ladbrokes World Darts Championship before the Christmas period," said PDC Chairman Barry Hearn.
"The standard of darts has been phenomenal and we've seen excitement and shocks so far, and I am not alone in looking forward to the final week of the tournament when we resume on Tuesday.
"On behalf of all the players and staff at the PDC, I'd like to wish all our fans around the world a happy Christmas and the best wishes for 2012.
"It promises to be another great year!"
