THE Barnsley Metrodome will host a triple-header of PDC tournaments this weekend, with Friday's European Tour Qualifier followed by Speedy Services UK Open Qualifiers to be held on Saturday and Sunday.
Friday - European Tour Event 1 UK Qualifier
The UK Qualifier for the first European Tour event will be played on Friday night, and sees 66 players competing for 20 places in the main tournament.
Play will commence at 7pm, with players needing to register at the Barnsley Metrodome between 4.30pm-6pm.
The draw will be made at 6pm, with an open draw seeing no players seeded, and players drawn into five groups, each of which will provide four winners. All games will be the best of 11 legs.
The Last 20 players will qualify to compete from April 27-29 in the inaugural European Tour event to be held at the Arena Nova, Wiener Neustadt, Austria.
The players who lose in the final matches will receive £100 towards the Order of Merit.
The draw for the main European Tour event's first round will be made on Friday night following the conclusion of the UK Qualifier, with the world's top 32 players drawn against the 32 players who have won through the UK, European and Home Nations Qualifiers.
Saturday & Sunday - Speedy Services UK Open Qualifiers 5&6
The fifth and sixth Speedy Services UK Open Qualifiers will be held on Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday has seen 199 players enter, with 200 players entering Sunday's event.
Players must register before 11am, with play commencing at 12pm.
