THE Players Championship events to be held on September 15 & 16 2012 have been moved to the Barnsley Metrodome, while the Killarney weekend will now feature a double-header of ProTour events.
The Players Championships on Saturday September 15 and Sunday September 16 have been switched from the Community Hall in Birmingham to now be held in Barnsley.
Birmingham will still host the PDC ProTour weekend on June 15-17, which sees the European Tour Event 3 UK Qualifier followed by a pair of Players Championship tournaments.
An additional Players Championship will be added to the PDC calendar with the introduction of a second PDC ProTour event in Killarney, which will be staged on Saturday October 20.
The non-ranked Irish Masters event will now be played on Friday October 19, with the two Players Championship events on October 20 and 21 then being held.
The full schedule of events for the Killarney Darts Festival, and information for non-PDPA members looking to enter the Players Championship Qualifiers, will be announced in due course.
