McCoy's PLD - Play-Off Stats

PHIL TAYLOR heads the stats breakdowns going into the McCoy's Premier League Darts Play-Offs on Thursday.

Taylor topped the league table following the 14-game regular season, amassing 24 points from a possible 28 during the league nights held across the UK and Ireland.

Unsurprisingly, he also leads the way in the stats for 180s scored, overall league average and finishing percentage, having landed 52 maximums, recorded a 107.60 average across the 14 games and hit 49 of his chances at a double with 107/220.

In total, Taylor has hit more treble 20s than single 20s in 12 of his 14 league games throughout the season, while he recorded a Premier League record average of 117.35 against Whitlock in Exeter and only averaged below 100 on two occasions.

From his rivals in the Play-Offs, Simon Whitlock has recorded 48 maximums this season, but has the lowest finishing percentage of the four players at 36 percent, compared to Andy Hamilton's 44% and James Wade's 41%.

Wade lost his first three games but bounced back to reach the Play-Offs, while Hamilton found himself bottom of the table after six weeks with only three points, but lost only once in the remaining eight games - when he went down 8-6 to Taylor and missed a chance to take a draw.
