OVER 100 players will compete in the final event of the 2012 PDC North American ProTour this weekend in Atlantic City.
The tournament, being held as part of the Atlantic City Open weekend at the Resorts Casino Hotel, will be the third on the North American ProTour and see $10,000 prize money paid.
Following the recent event in London, Ontario, which was won by Andre Carman, another bumper field of players will be in action in Atlantic City - including current Order of Merit leader Darin Young, who has been the runner-up in both tournaments so far this year.
Young's fellow American World Cup of Darts representatives Bill Davis and Gary Mawson will also be in action in Atlantic City, alongside Canadian Jeff Smith, who holds a PDC ProTour Card.
Event One winner John Part is unable to compete in the NAPT event due to his participation in the European Tour event in Stuttgart, but under NAPT rules will see 75% of the total prize money which he wins in Germany transfer onto the NAPT Order of Merit.
Following the tournament, the leading non-qualified player from the North American ProTour Order of Merit will be invited to compete in the Ladbrokes World Darts Championship at Alexandra Palace in December.
