PAT ORREAL and Russell Homer shared victories on the most recent weekend of the DPA Puma Australian Grand Prix season, as Order of Merit leader Kyle Anderson hit a nine-darter in Redcliffe.
Anderson, who played in the 2013 Ladbrokes World Darts Championship, continued his domination of the DartPlayers Australia rankings as he reached a final and a semi-final at the Redcliffe Darts Club.
He also hit a nine-darter in Saturday's quarter-final against Beau Anderson as he claimed a 6-2 victory before defeating Gordon Mathers 6-4 in the semis.
However, he went down 6-5 in the final to Pat Orreal, who famously competed in the 2007 Grand Slam of Darts event in England and had a stint on the PDC circuit the following year.
Sunday's title was taken by Russell Homer, who defeated Beau Anderson 6-2 in the semis and then overcame Darren Kirk by the same scoreline in the final.
The next DPA Puma Australian Grand Prix will be the Nerang Open on June 22-23 at the Nerang Dart Club.
