Irish Players Championship Updates

THE four Players Championship events to be staged in Ireland in October will be open to all PDPA Associate Members and to non-PDPA members from outside of the UK.

The next two weekends of Players Championship double-headers will be held in Ireland next month.

The first two events will be held on Saturday October 5 and Sunday October 6 at the Citywest Hotel in Dublin.

Two further £50,000 Players Championship events will be held as part of the Killarney Darts Festival on Saturday October 19 and Sunday October 20.

As the events are outside of the UK, they are open to all Tour Card Holders but also to all PDPA Associate Members and to non-PDPA members from outside of the UK, who pay a supplement to enter the events.

PDPA Tour Card Holders and Associate Members enter as usual via the PDC Online Entry System.

Non-Members can enter for €125 per event by contacting Michael O'Sullivan via mcjosullivan@eircom.net or 29 Mervue Crescent, Ballyvolane, Cork, Ireland.

The Killarney Players Championship events will be preceded by a Qualifier on each morning, with 32 players progressing to the main event. Entry is €30 via Michael O'Sullivan as above.

The weekend of events in Killarney will open with the Ladbrokes Irish Masters on Friday October 18, which is open to any player aged 14 and above, with a €17,200 prize fund. Full Killarney Darts Festival information is available by clicking here.

The double-header in Dublin will be preceded on Friday October 4 by the UK Qualifier for the Dutch Darts Masters, European Tour Event Eight. Players in the Top 32 of the Rolling ProTour Order of Merit, and players for the UK Qualifier, enter as usual through the PDC Online Entry System.
