THE 2014 PDC Qualifying School will be held in Wigan from January 15-18, offering ANY aspiring darts player the chance to win a place on the PDC's £7 million circuit next year.
Tour Cards to compete full-time on the PDC ProTour will be on offer at Qualifying School, with the additional incentive of the chance to compete on the PDC Unicorn Challenge Tour for any player who does not win a full Tour Card.
Four players from each of the four days of Qualifying School will win a Tour Card, with ranking points allocated to all other players to form the Q School Order of Merit, from which further Tour Cards may be awarded in ranking order to take the number of Tour Card Holders to 128.
The Q School Order of Merit will also be used to fill places in 128-player Players Championship events should all Tour Card Holders not enter.
Players who fail to win a Tour Card will automatically become PDPA Associate Members, entitling them to compete in the 16-event, £160,000 PDC Unicorn Challenge Tour throughout 2014.
PDPA Associate Members will also be able to compete in the six UK Open Qualifiers, eight European Tour Qualifiers, non-UK Players Championship events (TBC) and the World Championship PDPA Qualifier.
Entry to the 2014 PDC Qualifying School is open now, with the entry deadline being 12pm (Noon) on Monday January 13.
