THE draw and schedule of play for the 2014 Dutch Darts Masters have been confirmed, ahead of the second European Tour event to be held from February 14-16 at the NH Hotel Koningshof in Veldhoven.
The £100,000 tournament will feature 48 players competing across three days in Veldhoven, where Kim Huybrechts was crowned as the Dutch Darts Masters champion last October.
Huybrechts, along with the other 15 seeded players, will enter the event at the second round stage on Saturday February 15, with the opening day seeing the 32 qualifiers face off.
While the 20 UK Qualifiers were confirmed recently in Wigan, the four Host Nation Qualifiers will come from a knockout to be held on Tuesday February 11, with the eight European Qualifiers being found on Thursday February 13.
The first round's confirmed matches include Dean Winstanley up against Terry Temple, Wayne Jones facing Kevin Thomas, Joe Cullen's clash with Peter Hudson, Jamie Lewis - a European Tour finalist last year - taking on newcomer Glenn Spearing, Darren Webster's game with Mick Todd and Steve Maish's clash with David Pallett.
Terry Jenkins, Richie Burnett, Andy Smith, Stuart Kellett and Mark Walsh are amongst the other stars who won through the UK Qualifier but are still awaiting their first round opponents.
Huybrechts' bid to retain the Dutch Darts Masters title will see him open up in the second round against either Michael Mansell or a European Qualifier.
World Champion and number one seed Michael van Gerwen plays either Maish or Pallett, while Dave Chisnall takes on Andy Smith or another European Qualifier.
World Championship finalist Peter Wright meets Richie Burnett or a European Qualifier, world number three Simon Whitlock takes on Kellett or another European qualifier, while Adrian Lewis meets either Glenn Spearing or Jamie Lewis.
The draw for the Dutch Darts Masters was made by PDC Tournament Director Tommy Cox with PDPA Director Andy Scott. The PDC will confirm details of live streaming of this event in due course, with details currently being finalised.
