Sweden’s Caris, who has qualified for the PDC World Championship four times and represented his country in the PDC World Cup of Darts, was the highest profile qualifier on day four as he won back his Tour Card at the Robin Park Tennis Centre.
Colchester's Robinson, a PDC Unicorn Challenge Tour winner last year, secured his place on the PDC ProTour, with former Challenge Tour player Derry and Welshman Clayton sealing their maiden spots on the PDC's professional circuit.
Caris had begun the final day of Qualifying School with no points after a tricky opening three days at the Robin Park Tennis Centre, found his form on Day Four and won back his Tour Card after edging past Stephen Willard 5-4.
The 46-year-old’s day began with successive 5-2 victories over Mark Flawn and Rod Kinzett, before then defeating Gibraltar’s Dyson Parody - who had hit a nine-darter on Day Two - in a deciding leg in round three.
A 5-4 win came next for Caris against Aaron Turner, before he then saw off Martyn Turner 5-2 and Leon de Geus 5-1 to set up the final showdown with Willard, again coming through in a final leg to seal his place back on the PDC circuit.
Derry, a 27-year-old from Gorleston in Norfolk, was the day’s first Tour Card winner as he raced through the field, opening with a whitewash win over Stuart Stubbs and a 5-3 defeat of Tony Dawkins, before sealing another 5-0 victory against Jamie Cooper in round three.
Back-to-back 5-2 wins over Michael Rosenauer and Mark Carter followed for Derry, who was making his second appearance at Qualifying School, before he then secured another comprehensive victory in his final match, defeating Stephen McNally 5-1.
Welshman Clayton’s afternoon began with a first round bye before he then swept aside his next two opponents, beating Steven Kirkby 5-1 and Yuji Eguchi 5-0 to reach round four.
The 40-year-old from Llanelli faced much tougher tests in his following matches as he was taken to a deciding leg against both Jake Jones and William O’Connor, before eventually coming through 5-4 in both games to reach the last eight.
And Clayton would go on to secure his maiden PDC Tour Card in much more comfortable fashion as he sealed a whitewash 5-0 win over Andy Boulton in the last eight.
Colchester’s Jamie Robinson began with a 5-2 win over Darren Mawer in Wigan, before then securing a whitewash 5-0 win over Joerg Meinert in round two.
Michael Symes would provide a much tougher test for Robinson as he won 5-4 in a deciding leg, before he then defeated Tony Richardson (5-2), Simon Preston (5-3), Lee Palfreyman (5-2) and Wayne Atwood (5-2) in his final match to win back his PDC Tour Card.
In addition to the 16 Tour Card winners who picked up automatic Tour Cards across the four days of Qualifying School, a further 18 Tour Cards are awarded to players from the Q School Order of Merit, based on ranking points won across the four days, to complete the 128 player field of Tour Card holders.
Robbie Green secured his return to the PDC circuit on a full-time basis as one of the 18 Tour Card winners, while Stoke-born, Scottish based Andy Boulton - a five-time UK Open Qualifier - topped the Q School Order of Merit with 20 points from the four days.
Canada's Ken MacNeil secured his return to the professional circuit as he joined Dutch newcomer Jermaine Wattimena - a World Championship qualifier recently - on 17 points from the four days in Wigan.
Stockport's 23-year-old Nathan Aspinall picked up 15 points, with Prakash Jiwa winning back his Tour Card with 14 points alongside Bedlington's Chris Dobey.
Japanese number one and recent World Championship qualifier Haruki Muramatsu was joined by Steve McNally on 13 points, with Lee Palfreyman, Tony Richardson, Stephen Willard, Darren Johnson, Green, Jim Walker, William O'Connor, Johnny Haines, Curtis Hammond and Paul Milford completing the list of Tour Card winners.

Qualifying School Info
Play on each day of Qualifying School was down to four players, who win an automatic two-year PDC Tour Card and did not compete in subsequent days of the event.
In addition, players are allocated ranking points based on their finishing position on each day of play, forming the Q School Order of Merit from which an additional number of 18 PDC Tour Cards will be awarded.
Ranking Points will be awarded as follows:Last 8 defeat: 9 points
Last 16 defeat: 5 points
Last 32 defeat: 3 points
Last 64 defeat: 2 points
Last 128 defeat: 1 point
The Q School Order of Merit is also used during 2015 to allocate additional places, in ranking order, within Players Championship tournaments, should the full field of 128 Tour Card Holders not enter.
Players need only to play on a minimum of one day at Qualifying School, although the Q School OOM will be based on four days' performance.
