Cole Takes JDC Event Two Win

JARRED COLE took victory in the Junior Darts Corporation's second UK Tour event of the year in Derby on Saturday.

Hertfordshire's Cole, 16, bounced back from his narrow loss in the Event One final by going all the way to victory at the Cueball Club in the second of six Modus UK Tour events.

Cole - who has also competed on the PDC Unicorn Development Tour this year - defeated Jack Ratcliffe and Liam Earwicker without dropping a leg before seeing off Luke Durham 3-1 and Brad Phillips 4-1 to reach the final.

There, he overcame Tavis Dudeney 5-1 to take the £150 first prize, earn a place as a JDC All-Star and secure a place in the JDC's Junior World Darts Championship in December.

Event One winner James Beeton won through to the semi-finals before losing out to Dudeney, with Brad Phillips also reachin the last four.
