THE 2018/2019 William Hill World Darts Championship will be the biggest ever with 96 competitors and a record £2.5 million prize fund, and the race is on to grace the famous Alexandra Palace stage.
Darts’ biggest tournament will continue its remarkable growth this year, with a huge £500,000 awarded to the champion after 28 sessions over 16 days.
The 32 seeded players from the PDC Order of Merit will join the event in round two, while 32 ProTour Order of Merit qualifiers will take part in the first round alongside 32 international qualifiers.
Following huge demand for tickets, with 75,000 sold so far for the festive spectacular, all remaining standard tickets are now on sale to the general public.
The William Hill World Darts Championship will be held from December 13 2018-January 1 2019 at London's Alexandra Palace.
The tournament's expansion to 96 players means that an additional six sessions will take place during the event.
