ADRIAN LEWIS began his quest for a third world title with a 3-0 win over Ted Evetts in the second round of the William Hill World Darts Championship.
A high-class contest saw the opening two sets go to deciding legs, with Lewis winning both with 14 and 13-dart legs.
Evetts continued to battle hard, taking the opening leg of set three, but Lewis proved too strong for the Development Tour star, reeling off three consecutive legs, the third of which was an 11-darter, to progress to round three where he will take on Darius Labanauskas.
