Van Gerwen is joined on 13 points at the top of the league table going into the second half of the season by Rob Cross, who is now 5/1 to claim a maiden Premier League title.
Third-placed James Wade is 9/1 as he bids to win a second Premier League title a decade after being crowned as champion.
Daryl Gurney and Gerwyn Price are 14/1 to lift the trophy in May, with Peter Wright at 16/1, Michael Smith 18/1 and Mensur Suljovic the 20/1 outsider.
