Callan Rydz will make his William Hill World Darts Championship debut in December after topping the PDC Unicorn Challenge Tour Order of Merit.
The 21-year-old from Bedlington won two Challenge Tour events during his breakthrough year, also reaching another final and the Event 19 semi-final as he collected £6,750 prize money.
After holding off the challenge of Jesus Noguera to top the standings, Rydz will now qualify to compete at the World Championship as he makes his Alexandra Palace debut.
Also a PDC Unicorn Development Tour event winner in 2019, Rydz made his UK Open debut in March this year - losing out to Jamie Hughes in round one - and was a World Youth Championship semi-finalist last November.
Rydz is the latest player to secure a World Championship qualifying place, and will join the international qualifiers and ProTour Order of Merit qualifiers in the first round from December 13.
