Following a number of comments on social media regarding a checkout in the Jelle Klaasen v Gabriel Clemens game in the Unibet Home Tour Group Seven on Thursday April 23, the PDC has issued the following statement:
One of the unique features of the Unibet Home Tour is that players report their own score to a central graphics operator/statistician.
All competing players are contracted to adhere to the Darts Regulation Authority's rules and code of conduct, which includes acting with integrity and not bringing the sport into disrepute.
Some viewers felt that there was a degree of doubt in whether Klaasen's winning double 20 in the second leg was in the correct segment.
However, the PDC is satisfied that the video clip below reinforces the player's call that this was in the double 20 bed, and considers the matter closed.
The Unibet Home Tour can be watched live and free through PDCTV for registered users (new users can sign up for FREE here), as well as through bookmakers' websites and international broadcasters.
Registered PDCTV members can also watch for FREE through the official PDC App.
Fans in the UK & Ireland can watch through the Sky Sports App.
