World number 20 Chris Dobey lived up to his favourite billing by winning the group on Night 14 of the Unibet Home Tour.
The 29-year-old put himself in a commanding position early on, by beating Ciaran Teehan 5-2 in his opening game, before seeing off Ron Meulenkamp 5-1 in his second.
Going into the penultimate two games, Teehan needed a big win over Meulenkamp to give himself any chance of catching Dobey, but a 5-1 defeat to the Dutchman meant Dobey had sealed the group before his final game.
And in that final match he came up against a resurgent Kai Fan Leung, playing at gone 5am in Hong Kong, who took a narrow 5-4 victory.
The Unibet Home Tour continues on Friday and is FREE to watch on PDCTV for registered users (new users can sign up here), as well as through bookmakers' websites and international broadcasters.
