The final three qualification places for the 2020 BoyleSports Grand Slam of Darts will be confirmed at the conclusion of the PDC Winter Series on Saturday November 14.
Following Monday’s PDC Tour Card Holder Qualifier, which saw eight players secure spots in the televised event, three PDC Qualifier places remain vacant heading into the Winter Series.
The highest ranked player on the Winter Series Order of Merit not to have already qualified for the Grand Slam of Darts will be awarded a qualifying place.
Any winners of Winter Series events who have not yet qualified for the Grand Slam will join Ian White and Ryan Searle on the 'Reserve List', which will initially be ordered in terms of the number of Players Championship events won in 2020, and then by PDC Order of Merit position.
Should any player who qualifies for the Grand Slam of Darts have to withdraw for any reason, any further places will be allocated to the Reserve List.
If all players on the Reserve List are in the Grand Slam, any further players would come from the eight “Last 16 losers” from the PDC Tour Card Holder Qualifier, who will be placed in PDC Order of Merit order after the conclusion of the PDC Winter Series (current rankings as below).
Brendan Dolan (28)
Steve Beaton (29)
Ryan Searle (41)
Mickey Mansell (58)
Matthew Edgar (62)
Rowby-John Rodriguez (71)
Jason Lowe (79)
Peter Jacques (121)
Should more than one player withdraw, the replacement players would take the place of the withdrawn players in ranking order, i.e. the highest ranked replacement replaces the highest ranked withdrawn player.
The draw for the BoyleSports Grand Slam of Darts will be made on Saturday November 14 following confirmation of the final qualifiers.
The BoyleSports Grand Slam of Darts will be televised on Sky Sports from November 16-24 as well as through the PDC's international broadcast partners including RTL7 and DAZN, as well as for PDCTV 'Rest of the World Subscribers' and on matchroom.live.
