The PDC Order of Merit and ProTour Order of Merit qualifiers for the 2020/21 William Hill World Darts Championship have been confirmed ahead of next month's event.
The conclusion of the Players Championship Finals in Coventry on Sunday night saw the final ranking event before the World Championship come to an end as Michael van Gerwen scooped the £100,000 title.
Van Gerwen will be the top seed to headline the 32 PDC Order of Merit qualifiers for the World Championship, which will be held at London's Alexandra Palace from December 15-January 3.
Reigning World Champion Peter Wright will be seeded second for his defence of the Sid Waddell Trophy, after becoming only the third player in PDC Order of Merit history to top £1 million across a two-year period, behind Phil Taylor and Van Gerwen.
Gerwyn Price will be seeded third after his superb 2020 season, with Michael Smith, Rob Cross, Nathan Aspinall, James Wade and Dave Chisnall completing the top eight seeds.
World Matchplay champion Dimitri Van den Bergh is seeded ninth, with Premier League winner Glen Durrant seeded 12th and two-time World Champions Gary Anderson and Adrian Lewis seeded 13th and 21st respectively.
Jose de Sousa's remarkable rise sees the Grand Slam of Darts winner seeded 14th going into the event, while Jamie Hughes, Devon Petersen and Gabriel Clemens will be seeded for the first time after breaking into the top 32.
The 32 ProTour Order of Merit qualifiers are headlined by Australia's Damon Heta, who has enjoyed a superb debut season on the PDC ProTour.
2012 World Championship finalist Andy Hamilton, two-time Lakeside Champion Scott Waites, Martijn Kleermaker, Jeff Smith, Jason Lowe and Derk Telnekes had also begun 2020 at Qualifying School and will end the year on the sport's biggest stage.
Steve Beaton is amongst the ProTour Order of Merit qualifiers after dropping to 33rd on the main PDC Order of Merit, as he approaches a record 30th successive World Championship appearance.
Legendary star Paul Lim is set to make his 24th World Championship appearance in a run spanning 39 years after winning a PDC Asian Tour qualifier in Hong Kong on Sunday.
Lisa Ashton and Deta Hedman won through from the PDC Women's Series, while Bradley Brooks secured his World Championship debut by winning the PDC Unicorn World Youth Championship title on Sunday in Coventry.
The final six places in the field of qualifiers and international representatives will be confirmed on Monday at the PDC Tour Card Holder Qualifier in Coventry.
Four places will be awarded to the UK Qualifier, with two spots on offer for players in the Rest of the World Qualifier. Play will commence from 1200 GMT.
The draw for the William Hill World Darts Championship will be made at 0930 GMT on Thursday December 3, live on Sky Sports News.
Global coverage will be headlined by coverage on the dedicated Sky Sports Darts channel, while the PDC's international broadcast partners will include RTL7 in the Netherlands, DAZN in various territories, Fox Sports in Australia, Sky Sport in New Zealand, PDCTV for Rest of the World Subscribers and at matchroom.live.
