Michael van Gerwen and Danny Noppert will clash in the first round of the 2022 Viaplay Dutch Darts Masters, with the draw and schedule confirmed for this weekend's World Series of Darts event in Amsterdam.
Van Gerwen's first appearance since undergoing arm surgery will come against reigning UK Open champion Noppert in the pick of the first round ties on Friday night.
The year's third PDC World Series of Darts event will be held at the Ziggo Dome on June 24-25, as eight of the PDC's elite stars face off against the top eight Dutch players on the PDC Order of Merit.
The opening day will see the eight invited PDC players take on the Dutch representatives, with World Champion Peter Wright to meet Dutch World Cup semi-finalist Dirk van Duijvenbode in a tasty contest.
Top seed and US Darts Masters champion Michael Smith plays Martijn Kleermaker, while Nordic Darts Masters winner Dimitri Van den Bergh begins his bid for back-to-back World Series titles against Ron Meulenkamp.
Last year's Nordic Darts Masters runner-up Fallon Sherrock will continue her 2022 World Series tour against Maik Kuivenhoven.
Gerwyn Price will play veteran Vincent van der Voort, fourth seed James Wade takes on Jeffrey de Zwaan and Jonny Clayton - the reigning World Series of Darts Finals champion - faces Jermaine Wattimena in the opening game of the tournament.
Saturday's second day of action will see the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final played in one session as the tournament concludes at the Ziggo Dome.
The tournament will be broadcast live on Viaplay throughout the weekend, through the PDC's international broadcast partners, including DAZN, and through PDCTV (excluding Germany, Austria & Switzerland).
UK viewers can watch through PDCTV throughout, with a Summer Pass subscription option available, while ITV4 coverage will feature the first round from 1400-1800 BST on Saturday ahead of the final stages live from 1800 BST.
