Following on from their award-winning Bullseye Maths community campaign, the PDC is looking to widen the reach of its community activity to engage with darts players of all ages and abilities.
Bullseye Maths was a scheme introduced in 2022 as a fun and inclusive way to promote numeracy, after studies found that numeracy levels amongst children had been affected during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The scheme was recognised at the prestigious Sports Business Awards in November 2023, and the PDC is now set to launch an exciting new campaign for darts enthusiasts across the globe: PDC In the Community.
The campaign will be run in partnership with Official Equipment providers Winmau, and will feature a series of dynamic initiatives to elevate the game, develop new pathways and look to bring more players to the oche to grow the game of darts.
If you are a passionate darts player who is a member of a club, then the PDC would love to hear more details from you to inform their future campaigns and shape the way it will engage with players.
You can sign-up here today to be the first to receive insider access to exclusive news and promotions that will be rolled out as part of the campaign.
"Our Bullseye Maths scheme has been hugely popular since its introduction, and the feedback we've received from pupils, teachers and people participating online has been overwhelmingly positive," said PDC Chief Executive Matt Porter.
The scheme has also enjoyed great support from our players and partners, and it's provided a really valuable template for how we can develop our engagement within the darting community.
"Our priority is to build an even deeper connection with darts players of all levels and abilities, bring them into our PDC family and ultimately build a stronger future for darts, and I'm confident our PDC in the Community campaign can help us achieve that."
