Italian and Spanish speaking darts fans will be able to watch the Paddy Power World Darts Championship in their native language live on PDCTV from the quarter-finals onwards.

Darts has become hugely popular in Italy in recent years, with PDC Tour Card holder Michele Turetta partnering Massimo Dalla Rosa to the quarter-finals of the World Cup of Darts in June.

Spain also continues to be one of the sport's biggest growth areas in Europe, with several players competing on the PDC ProTour over the last decade and being ever-presents in the World Cup of Darts.

Players from Spanish-speaking countries also competed in this year's inaugural Championship Darts Latin America and Caribbean Tour.

"We're delighted that Italian and Spanish speaking fans will be able to enjoy the Paddy Power World Darts Championship in their native language through PDCTV," said PDC Chief Executive Matt Porter.

"There is huge anticipation ahead of the most highly-anticipated World Championship ever, which will enjoy a huge global audience across the coming weeks."
