The 16-player field for the 2025 TOTO Dutch Darts Masters has been finalised, as Michael van Gerwen prepares to defend the World Series of Darts title on home soil.

The third staging of the World Series of Darts event will take place across two days on January 24-25, as reigning champion Van Gerwen headlines a star-studded field at Maaspoort Den Bosch.

The three-time World Champion defeated Luke Littler in a thrilling final 12 months ago, and the Dutch superstar will be aiming to go back-to-back in front of a bumper Dutch crowd.

The 16-player tournament - the second event on the PDC's 2025 World Series of Darts circuit, following this week's visit to Bahrain - will see eight PDC superstars take on eight Benelux representatives in Friday’s first round.

Newly-crowned World Champion Littler will also feature amongst the eight PDC superstars, fresh from an incredible 12-month spell that has seen the teenager shatter a host of records in the process.

The 17-year-old sensation will be joined in Den Bosch by world number one Luke Humphries, who won the New Zealand Darts Masters on the World Series circuit last August.

World Championship semi-finalists Stephen Bunting and Chris Dobey will debut in Den Bosch, following their Alexandra Palace exploits and their inclusion in the 2025 Premier League.

Former World Champions Rob Cross and Gerwyn Price will also return to Dutch soil, with 2023 World Matchplay winner Nathan Aspinall completing the eight-player line-up of PDC representatives.

Dutch number two Danny Noppert tops the list of Benelux representatives, which also includes 2022 winner and reigning UK Open champion Dimitri Van den Bergh.

Dirk van Duijvenbode - the runner-up to Van den Bergh in 2022 - makes his return to home soil, where he will compete alongside World Youth Champion Gian van Veen.

Five-time World Champion Raymond van Barneveld will aim to roll back the years in front of his partisan home crowd, as a resurgent Jermaine Wattimena makes his World Series of Darts return.

Elsewhere, Kevin Doets - fresh from his breakthrough run to the last 16 at the World Darts Championship - will be in action alongside debutant Richard Veenstra, with World Grand Prix champion Mike De Decker missing out on the event due to family commitments.

The World Series of Darts circuit will also visit Bahrain, Denmark, America, Poland, Australia and New Zealand during 2025, before the season-ending World Series of Darts Finals takes place in Amsterdam. For ticket information, please see pdc.tv/tickets.
