BRIAN ROACH won his fourth Grand Prix event of 2005 with a victory over Barry Jouannet at the Mudgee Soldiers Club.
Roachy came out strong in the best-of-11-leg match, securing the opener in 14 darts.
Jouannet responded by taking the next three legs in 20, 19 & 17 darts before an inspired Roach took five successive legs to take victory.
The wine growing region of Mudgee, in country New South Wales, was the perfect backdrop to host the 10th Australian Darts Grand Prix, which saw Stuart Everson and Craig Scarfe reach the semi-finals.
