THE Professional Darts Corporation and SeeTickets have produced the following important information for fans attending the 2015/2016 William Hill World Darts Championship.

London's biggest Christmas party gets underway at Alexandra Palace on Thursday December 17, and even if you have been to the event before we would ask you to read the following message to ensure you don't experience any unnecessary problems during your visit.
- A small number of tickets have been incorrectly printed with door opening times at 60 minutes before play begins. Please note doors for all sessions open 90 minutes before play starts.
- The arena layout has changed from previous years. Please pay close attention to the seat details on your ticket and follow the internal signage to your seat. A floor plan is available at www.pdc.tv.
- Heightened security measures will be in place at the entrance for your comfort and safety. Please expect to be searched and allow extra time for your entrance to the venue. Please co-operate with event security staff, who are there for your benefit!
- We encourage fans to get in to the spirit of the event with fancy dress, but please remember that anything which may be deemed politically sensitive or offensive will not be permitted.
- Likewise, imitation weapons or football colours will NOT be allowed in to the venue.
- In the event of adverse weather, please ensure you leave extra time for your journey and plan your travel route home at the end of the session, taking note of last train times (particularly on Boxing Day, when trains will not run from Alexandra Palace station).
- If you have any problems with your tickets, please contact your point of purchase (SeeTickets, Viagogo or Thomas Cook Sport) in advance of your arrival at the venue. Tickets purchased from other sources may not be legitimate and you may be denied entrance.
- Alexandra Palace is situated in a residential area - please leave quietly and respect its neighbours after the event.
The Fans Village at Alexandra Palace is open from 90 minutes before play starts for each session with bars, food stalls, a William Hill betting shop, darts games, merchandise and plenty more so why not arrive early and get involved in all the fun before the darts starts!
