FOUR more International Qualifiers and five Rileys Qualifiers have won their places in the last 32 of the PDC Unicorn Women's World Championship.
Australia's Lavinia Hogg edged out Chrissy Sherrin to become her country's representative at the Barnsley Metrodome on Saturday June 12, when the event sees the last 32 females play down to the final.
The final itself - worth £10,000 to the champion - will be played live on stage ahead of the StanJames.com World Matchplay final on Sunday July 25.
Hogg was the top Australian player over a series of tournaments staged on the DartPlayers Australia circuit, earning 21 ranking points to Sherrin's 19 in the final table.
Hogg will be joined in Barnsley by the two qualifiers from the Irish Women's Matchplay Championship, a new event for players in Ireland & Northern Ireland.
Sharon O'Brien defeated Denise Cassidy 4-0 in the final of the event, with both finalists now progressing to play in Barnsley.
O'Brien defeated her Kildare team-mate and Doubles partner Susan McKenna 4-1 in her semi-final game, while Cassidy was a 4-3 winner against Cork's Nicola O'Donovan in her last four match.
Cassidy, from Fermanagh in Northern Ireland, and Kildare's O'Brien have a wealth of experience on the domestic ladies' circuit, and will now challenge the likes of Anastasia Dobromyslova, Stacy Bromberg, Cindy Pardy, Irina Armstrong and Clare Bywaters.
In addition, Kazumi Nakagawa will represent Japan in the event, with her country offered an International Qualifying place after New Zealand were unable to send a competitor.
The latest series of Rileys Qualifiers have seen five ladies win through to the last 32, including Deta Hedman - the former PDC player who is currently ranked number one in the WDF system - who won the Oxford Qualifier.
Emma Pearce, the sister of Staffordshire-based PDC professional Andy, won through the Wolverhampton Qualifier, Juliet Findley was successful in Norwich, Paula Clemett won in Cardiff and Glad Davies was successful in the Bootle event.
The remaining 11 qualifiers will be held this coming weekend, May 29 & 30, at Rileys Darts Zones around the UK, ranging from Aberdeen to Exeter.
