PER LAURSEN is the latest international qualifier for the Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship.
The Danish star has topped the Dansk Dart Liga for the fifth successive year to secure his place at Alexandra Palace ahead of Vladimir Andersen.
Laursen won three of the first six events to establish himself at the top of the standings, ahead of young prospect Andersen and Jann Hoffmann.
Laursen first competed in the Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship in 2007, when he defeated Colin Monk 3-0 but went down narrowly to Dennis Priestley, and has been an ever-present at Alexandra Palace in the last three years.
He joins a string of other international qualifiers who have already booked their places in the event, including Sweden's Magnus Caris, while a further Scandinavian player will win their place this weekend in Finland's qualifying event.
Further qualifiers will be held in Germany, West Europe, Russia and China, who will stage the final of their qualifier on Sunday November 28 in Hong Kong.
A total of 12 players have already won through to the final qualifier, with four further places on offer at the Greater China Qualifier.
The Russian Qualifier will feature last year's representative at Alexandra Palace, Roman Konchikov, as well as Anastasia Dobromyslova, who competed in the 2009 World Championship.
The final place in the field will come through the PDPA Qualifier, which will be held on Monday November 29 in Derby.
PDPA members who have not competed in any other international qualifier in their home country can enter this event via the PDPA.

Tickets for table seats will be limited to six per person per session.

Family Enclosure/Disabled Spectators
Tickets for a dedicated Family Enclosure will be available. Any customers bringing children under the age of 16 are strongly recommended to use this section and to specify this when ordering tickets.
