Lim Secures Ally Pally Return

PAUL LIM has secured a place in the 2015-16 William Hill World Darts Championship as the winner of this year's DARTSLIVE SUPERDARTS finals.

The 16-player knockout at Zepp DiverCity in Tokyo featured the eight leading players from the 2014 DARTSLIVE - THE WORLD rankings alongside eight other competitors in March.

Lim overcame America's Scott Kirchner and Japanese duo Takehiro Suzuki and Shunpei Noge to reach the final, where he defeated Croatia's Boris Krcmar 4-2 to claim the JPY10,000,000 (approx £52,000) first prize.

The 61-year-old, who landed a famous nine-darter at the Lakeside Championship back in 1990, appeared in six PDC World Championships from 1997-2002 before returning to compete at Alexandra Palace in 2013 and 2014.

Having also competed in the 2014 and 2015 World Cup of Darts for Singapore, Lim will now make his third appearance on the Alexandra Palace stage in December as one of the International Qualifiers, representing DARTSLIVE.
