FOLLOWING Phil Taylor's perfect leg at the Blue Square UK Open, the PDC's nine-dart jackpot will start again at £5,000 for the Las Vegas Desert Classic.
Last summer, the PDC introduced a £5,000 bonus for a nine-dart leg landed live on Sky Sports in one of the five major ranking tournaments.
The prize is rolled over to the next major tournament should it not be achieved, and would be shared equally among players should more than one nine-darter be hit during an event.
Taylor landed a £20,000 bonus for his nine-darter against Wes Newton in the UK Open last week - although Mark Dudbridge and Kevin Painter came to within one double 12 of earning a share of the prize.
The prize will now return to £5,000 for the Las Vegas Desert Classic and would increase to £10,000 for the Stan James World Matchplay if no player hits the perfect leg during the Mandalay Bay event.
