PETER MANLEY admits it's "win or bust" in his bid for a place in the 2006 Holsten Premier League Darts play-offs.
Manley has two matches remaining over the next fortnight as he bids for a second successive semi-final appearance.
The Carlisle-based star faces Roland Scholten in Stevenage this Thursday before then meeting Ronnie Baxter - one of his rivals for fourth place - in Reading the following week.
After an 8-3 win over Wayne Mardle last week in Doncaster, Manley admits that he has put himself in with a chance of edging out Baxter and Colin Lloyd for that final spot.
"There's no other situation than winning for me now," said Manley. "I had to do the same last year to get into the top four, so it's nothing new for me.
"I've won one game and have two to go against Roland and Ronnie, and I know that I have to beat them both to get onto ten points.
"I'd like to think I'm better placed than Colin and Ronnie - both play Raymond van Barneveld and Colin meets Phil this week - but I have to concentrate on my own game against Roland this Thursday.
"I feel good and I'm ready for the challenge. I'm working hard and practising a lot."
Manley is keen for further success after reaching the Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship final in January.
"Making the play-offs will mean so much to me, my family and my sponsor, Chris Sedgeman Scaffolding," he added.
"He's from Penzance and has been backing me this year but he's bought tickets for the play-off, so I've got to make sure I'm there!"
