Sportradar Expand PDC Partnership

THE Professional Darts Corporation and Sportradar have announced a new partnership to include the provision of high-quality live streams from World Series of Darts and European Tour events.

Sportradar have a long-standing partnership as the Official Data Providers of the PDC, providing live scoring from events and official statistics.

The extension of their partnership will see live streaming of the 2016 World Series of Darts events and the ten European Tour events available to Sportradar's clients, which cross the betting and gaming sector and other media space.

"Our work to date with Sportradar has been exceptionally fruitful, so when the opportunity came to add live streaming options to the existing data portfolio, we were happy to combine the two," said PDC Chief Executive Matt Porter.

"We are in no doubt that providing this darts content to Sportradar will ensure that our data and now our streams reach the widest possible audience."

Andrew Palmer, Sales Director at Sportradar, added: "The partnership with the PDC is another huge step forward in our efforts to deliver a great portfolio of events to our clients.

"This deal will have a great impact and will ensure that our clients can deliver compelling darts coverage in the fastest and most engaging manner.

"The appetite for darts just keeps growing and we're very happy that the PDC has decided to continue working with us, which underlines their trust in our expertise, reach and commitment to the sport."

Live streaming from PDC events will continue to be available through www.LIVEPDC.TV, including worldwide coverage of European Tour events for all LIVEPDC Subscribers.

The PDC Live Scores website (http://live.dartsdata.com) will continue to provide live scores from PDC televised and European Tour events. However, live scoring will not be operated via Sportradar from ProTour events, with results updates available through www.pdc.tv.
