Peter Wright believes he is 'the man to beat' at the Unibet Premier League Play-Offs in Coventry on Thursday.
Wright will be joined by Glen Durrant, Nathan Aspinall and Gary Anderson as the prolonged Premier League season reaches its climax with the semi-finals and final at the Ricoh Arena.
The World Champion famously missed seven darts for the title in 2017 but insists he won't make the same mistakes again and is rightly installed as 13/8 favourite by Unibet.
"The form I'm in I think I should be favourite, to be fair," said a confident Wright.
"I feel really good and I haven't got to play the best two best players in the world at the moment, in my opinion, in Michael [van Gerwen] and Gerwyn [Price].
"No disrespect to the other guys but I'm lucky those two aren't in it. I'm looking forward to getting out there and picking up the trophy.
"I said from the start 'if I qualify I'll win it'. I said the same about reaching the World Championship final.
"I've made mistakes in the past in these big finals but I showed in the World Championship final I've learned from my mistakes, so I won't be missing seven darts for the title this time!"
The semi-finals will see Wright will take on Aspinall, who along with Durrant enjoyed a dream debut campaign.
Wright said of Aspinall: "To be honest, with his throwing action, I didn't think it would last but he's proved it does.
"He's a little firework. I call him 'Zebedee' because he's always bouncing around on stage. Hopefully I keep him on the roundabout and run circles around him!"
Live coverage of Unibet Premier League Play-Offs will be shown on Sky Sports, as well as through the PDC's international broadcast partners including RTL7 and DAZN and for PDCTV Rest of the World Subscribers.
