PDC Super Series 2 saw three of the top ten recorded averages from Players Championship winners in recent years during four top-class days of darts in Milton Keynes.
The second four-event block of Players Championship events saw Brendan Dolan, Gerwyn Price, Jonny Clayton and Peter Wright enjoy victories at the Marshall Arena.
With data from Players Championship events having been recorded since 2018 through the DartConnect system, analysis of the averages across PDC Super Series 2 saw a number of notable results when compared to the previous 79 events in that period.
Three of last week's four champions recorded averages inside the top ten for a Players Championship winner since the start of 2018, with Wright (102.90 on Friday), Price (102.89 on Wednesday) and Dolan (102.19) all producing superb displays.
In addition, three of last week's events made the top ten for the overall tournament average - in addition to Players Championship 3 from Super Series 1 last month.
Dolan's win in Tuesday's Players Championship 5 was the highest, matching PC3 with a 93.27 tournament average, ahead of Friday's Players Championship 8 (93.24) and Wednesday's Players Championship 6 (92.71).
Friday's Players Championship 8 also saw the highest incidence of scores of 171-180 per leg, at 0.5610 - with three other events this year also making the top ten.
PDC Super Series 2 also saw three nine-darters achieved, with Ritchie Edhouse and Wayne Jones landing perfect legs in Tuesday's Players Championship 5 and Mickey Mansell matching the feat in Friday's Players Championship 8, taking the 2021 tally to 12.
