THE PDC's European Tour will continue its expansion in 2015, with nine events to take place and new venues in Holland, Germany and Austria set to host the world's leading darts players.
The year's events will begin in Hildeshiem at the end of January for the first of six events to be held in Germany, in addition to the return to Gibraltar - in March - and a first visit to Venray in the Netherlands in June.
Munich, Hamburg and Innsbruck are set to welcome PDC events for the first time during 2015, alongside established European Tour venues in Hildesheim, Dusseldorf, Leipzig and Sindelfingen.
The PDC's European Tour, staged in conjunction with PDC European, has been a huge hit since the inaugural events in 2012, with packed crowds across Europe watching the event live alongside live streaming available worldwide.
A total of 17 different players have won the 21 tournaments staged so far, with only Phil Taylor and Michael van Gerwen - with three wins apiece - taking victory on more than one occasion.
