Social media tributes pour in for John Gwynne

Tributes were paid across social media following the news that iconic commentator John Gwynne passed away on Saturday.

The former Sky Sports commentator had enjoyed four decades working in darts in a variety of roles, and was also a member of the PDC Hall of Fame.

Gwynne's son Andrew announced the news on Saturday, having cared for John in recent months during his battle with cancer.

Tributes poured in across social media as one of broadcasting's most recognisable voices was remembered.
