All Access PDC nominated in prestigious Sports Broadcast Awards

The Darts Show - All Access PDC has been shortlisted in the prestigious Sports Broadcast Awards, reflecting the popularity of the monthly documentary series.
 
This year has seen The Darts Show's format change from the previous magazine show style to a behind-the-scenes documentary following the sport's top stars on the circuit.
 
All Access PDC - produced by Matchroom Media - has profiled Michael Smith, Chris Dobey, Peter Wright, Gerwyn Price, Dimitri Van den Bergh, Rob Cross and Nathan Aspinall so far in 2023.
 
The next episode, due to air on Sky Sports, PDCTV and the OfficialPDC YouTube channel from Thursday October 5, will feature Danny Noppert and give an insight into the Dutch star's rise into the world's top ten.
 
The 2023 Sports Broadcast Awards winners will be announced on Thursday November 2 at a ceremony in London, with The Darts Show - All Access PDC being shortlisted in the Best Original Content By A Rights Holder category.
 
"We're delighted to have been shortlisted in the Sports Broadcast Awards and this is a testament to the hard work of the Matchroom Media production team, the PDC's media team and our players," said PDC Chief Executive Matt Porter.
 
"All Access PDC has given a platform for fans to see another side of our top players and showcase the great personalities we have in the sport.

The announcement follows the recent news of the PDC receiving three nominations in the 2023 Sports Business Awards.
 
The 2022/23 World Darts Championship has been nominated for the Best Sports Event award, the PDC's Bullseye Maths scheme is nominated in the Best Sports Community or CR Scheme - Other Sports category and a nomination in the Womens Sports Business Award - Governing Bodies & Teams recognises the advancement of the PDC Women's Series and Women's World Matchplay.
 
In addition, German broadcast partner Sport1 has been nominated in the Best Sports Programme category at the 2023 German Television Awards for their coverage of the 2022/23 World Darts Championship, which drew record TV ratings for the channel.
