2025 Elten Safety Shoes German Darts Grand Prix draw & schedule

Luke Littler (Simon O'Connor/PDC)

Luke Littler will make his return to European Tour action against either Luke Woodhouse or Cam Crabtree at the Elten Safety Shoes German Darts Grand Prix, with the draw and schedule for this weekend’s Easter event confirmed.

The fourth European Tour event of 2025 will see a star-studded 48-player-field competing for silverware from April 19-21, with World Champion Littler headlining the action.

The teenage sensation has not featured on the European Tour since prevailing in the season-opening Belgian Darts Open last month, but he will make the trip to Munich as the top seed.

Saturday’s first round will feature 16 matches across two sessions, with German number one Martin Schindler one of six Host Nation representatives in action.

Schindler will play Belgium’s Mario Vandenbogaerde for a place in round two, as Ricardo Pietreczko - also a former winner on the European Tour - faces European Tour debutant Adam Paxton.

Wessel Nijman meets former World Championship semi-finalist Scott Williams in a stand-out tie, while Austrian icon Mensur Suljovic and Poland’s number one Krzysztof Ratajski lock horns on Saturday evening.

Five-time World Champion Raymond van Barneveld takes on Host Nation Qualifier Michael Rosenauer, as Rene Eidams and Michael Unterbuchner also face Dutch opposition in the shape of Gian van Veen and Jermaine Wattimena respectively.

Elsewhere, Finn Behrens - the other Host Nation Qualifier in action this weekend - makes his big stage bow against Belgium’s Kim Huybrechts.

The 16 PDC Order of Merit Qualifiers enter the tournament in Sunday’s second round, as Littler begins his title bid against Woodhouse or Crabtree.

Michael van Gerwen will also be amongst the star attractions in Munich, and the Dutchman kicks off his challenge for a fourth German Darts Grand Prix crown against Huybrechts or Behrens.

Pietreczko or Paxton will await third seed Rob Cross, while Jonny Clayton faces a tough opening assignment against Schindler or Vandenbogaerde.

Gerwyn Price could begin his campaign with a heavyweight showdown against Van Barneveld, as World Grand Prix champion Mike De Decker and Sweden’s Johan Engstrom compete for the right to play Peter Wright.

James Wade will play either Daryl Gurney or Niels Zonneveld for a place in the last 16, Josh Rock has been pitted against Nijman or Williams, with former World Champion Michael Smith set to take on Suljovic or Ratajski in his Munich opener.

Fifth seed Dave Chisnall faces a potential second round showdown against Dirk van Duijvenbode, with Ryan Searle awaiting the winner of the tie between in-form duo Cameron Menzies and Kevin Doets.

Following Sunday’s second round, the last 16 will take place on Monday afternoon, before the tournament concludes with the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final in a bumper evening session.

Live coverage from the German Darts Grand Prix will be streamed on DAZN for viewers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and through the DAZN Darts channel on Pluto TV.

Coverage will also be broadcast on PDCTV (excluding Germany, Austria and Switzerland) and through bookmakers' worldwide.
