3D Treat For Semis & Final

DARTS fans will be able to enjoy enhanced coverage of the Ladbrokes World Darts Championship semi-finals and final through the Sky 3D channel on Sunday and Tuesday.

The climax of the £1 million tournament will see the semi-finals take place on Sunday evening at Alexandra Palace in London.

The final will then be held on Tuesday January 1 as the New Year welcomes its first World Champion, who will lift the Sid Waddell Trophy and take home a £200,000 first prize.

Sky Sports' HD coverage of the semi-finals and final will be accompanied by 3D coverage through the Sky 3D channel from Alexandra Palace.

In addition, Sky 3D viewers will also be able to listen to commentary during the final from the legendary broadcaster Dave Lanning, who will come out of retirement for the occasion.

Lanning, a member of the PDC Hall of Fame, had stepped back from commentary two years ago, but will be present for the first final where the Sid Waddell Trophy - named in memory of his great broadcasting partner - will be awarded.
